Learn how to add and modify payment methods on the Rewaa platform.
The Rewaa platform provides cash and credit card payment options to record and track payment transactions with customers and suppliers. It also allows you to add other payment methods that suit your business needs.
Adding Payment Methods on the Platform
ℹ️ Note: The details for adding payment methods vary when the accounting system is installed. For more details, click here.
- Go to Settings > Payment Methods > Add Payment Method.

Enter the name of the payment method.

Select the category of the payment method.
ℹ️ When using the accounting system: The "Link Account" option will appear to specify the accounting account associated with the payment method.

Write a description for the payment method (optional).

Click the (✔) icon.
ℹ️ Note: The method of adding a payment method on the platform differs from adding it to the sales box. To use it in the sales box, go to: Sales & Customers > Points of Sale > Box Settings > Payment Methods, then select the desired payment method.
Modifying a Payment Method on the Platform

Go to Settings > Payment Methods > Click the (🖋) icon.

Edit the data you want:

Name of the payment method.

1- What is meant by Rewaa Pay when choosing the payment method category (SoftPOS)?
Rewaa Pay is a digital point-of-sale service that allows you to collect payments from your customers in various ways (such as Mada card, Visa, Mastercard, etc.). The service can be activated on Android devices that support NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, turning the device into a digital point-of-sale terminal (Soft POS terminal). 2- Can I delete a payment method after adding it to the platform?
You cannot delete a payment method after adding it to the platform, but you can remove it from the sales box or modify it.
3- Can I add a payment method with the names of delivery apps (Jahez - HungerStation...)?
Yes, you can add a new payment method and write the name of the delivery app in the "Payment Method Name" field.
4- Can I modify the payment method category (Cash - Credit Card...)?
You cannot modify the payment method category after adding it, but you can add a new payment method.
