The chart of accounts allows you to manage and track all accounts on the platform. In this article, you will learn about the main available options.
Accessing the Chart of Accounts

Go to Accounting > Chart of Accounts.

The chart appears with all its accounts.
Searching for an Account in the Chart
- Search for the account using its name or account code.
Knowing the Nature of the Account

Creditor.

Debtor.
Knowing the Account Balance in Rewaa

Through the column (Balance in Rewaa), you can know the total account balance.

To know the balance of a specific account, click on the arrow next to the account name to display the sub-accounts.
Exporting the Chart of Accounts to an (Excel) File

Click on "Export."

The chart is downloaded as an (Excel) file to your device.
Viewing Account Details
(Displays the last 10 transactions made on the account).

From the chart of accounts, click on the icon (👁) in front of the desired account.

Account details appear and include:

Closing balance: Total amounts recorded in the account.

Account description.
-
Last 10 transactions made on the account.

ℹ️ Note: The total balance is displayed cumulatively.
Viewing the Account Statement
(Displays all financial transactions from the opening balance to the current time, with the ability to specify a time period).

From the chart of accounts, click on the icon (🗒) in front of the desired account.

Specify the time period, location.
To export the account statement to an (Excel) or (PDF) file:

Click on Export > Choose the file type you want.

The file is downloaded to your device.
Frequently Asked Questions
1- Can I display more than 25 transactions on the account statement page?
Yes, you can change the number of transactions displayed on the page through the designated field, up to 200 transactions per page.
2- What is meant by the opening balance in the account statement and account details?
It is the balance that was entered manually at the start of use, or the closing balance of the previous financial period.
3- What is meant by the reference number in the account statement and account details?
It is the reference number for the transaction itself, generated automatically by the platform after it is added.
Example: Transaction type: New expense, reference number: Exp-94. You can click on it in the account statement to view the transaction details.
