How to track the movement of your products on the platform

The Product Movement Report helps you track product movements and the impact of each transaction through official invoices such as: sales, returns, purchase orders, stock returns, and more across your sales channels.

⚠️ Note: Manually adjusting the product quantity in the products section without issuing an official invoice does not reflect on the report and does not appear in the product movements.

#Accessing the Report

1. Go to Reports > Inventory > Product Movement Report.

2. Click on the report to view details.

#Searching the Report

Type the product name or identifier (SKU) in the designated search field.

#Filtering Search Results

1. Click on "Filter."

2. You can filter results by:

   • Product name.

   • Identifier (SKU).

   • Location.

   • Operation type.

   • Operation reference.

   • Operation date.

3. Click on "Apply."

#Setting the Time

1. Click on the time field.

2. Select the time frame you want:

• 24 hours (default setting).

• Choose a custom period (temporary or fixed).

To choose a temporary period:

• Click on "Edit Temporary Period."

• Select the start and end times.

• Click on "Apply."

To add a fixed period:

• Click on "Define Fixed Period."

• Add the period name.

• Set the period hours.

• Click on "Apply."

#Sorting Data

1. Click on the "View by" field.

2. Choose the appropriate order to display data in the report.

#Report Data

Product Name/Product Code (SKU)

Based on information added on the platform.

Location

The branch where the product is added on the platform.

Operation Type

Sales and return operations across all sales channels, or purchase, return, transfer, and stock inventory operations.

Operation Reference

Invoice number.

Operation Date

Date of the operation on the platform.

Quantities Before Operation

Product quantity on the platform before completing the operation.

Quantity per Operation

Quantity added or withdrawn when the operation is executed.

Quantity After Operation

Quantity in stock after completing the operation.

Retail Price

Sale price including tax.

Cost

Product cost excluding tax.

Sales Channel

Riwaa platform or the online store linked with Riwaa.

#Exporting the Report

1. Click on "Export."

2. Choose: Excel file or PDF file.

3. The Excel file is downloaded to your device.

1. Can I export the report for a specific product movement? Yes, click on Filter > Enter the product name > Click on Apply > Then click on Export.

2. Can I know all the operations performed on a specific product during a specified period?

   Yes, click on Filter > Select the product > Choose the time period > Click on Apply.

3. How do I check the product quantity before adding a purchase invoice?

   From the Product Movement Report > Click on Filter > Select the operation type > Enter the product name > Click on Apply. The product quantity before adding the invoice appears in the designated column.

4. Why don't all data appear in the report?

   Use the scroll bar below the table to see all data, or click on Export to view all data in an Excel file.
