After installing the accounting system, the Riway platform directs operations towards the optimal accounts based on the type and location of the transaction, ensuring that all transactions are recorded in specific accounts within the chart of accounts correctly. Steps for Directing Accounting Operations
Make sure to add all the accounts you want on the platform. For more details on adding accounts, click here.
Step One: Access Accounting Direction

Go to Settings > Finance > Accounting Operations Direction.

Inventory operations appear with the default account associated with each operation.
Step Two: Direct Operations

Click on the current account name.

Choose the new account.

Specify the application range:

Future operations only.
-
Past and future operations (the update is applied based on the date you specify).
ℹ️ Note: The new account must be of the same type and nature as the previous account.
Example: If you change inventory operations from a sales cost account to a new account named inventory cost, both must be under the expenses account.
Step Three: Save the Direction

Click "Save."

When choosing future operations only, the direction is applied to new operations.

When choosing past and future operations, the system starts transferring past operations immediately.

Click "Confirm."

To view the details of the direction process (such as the update date and the username who performed it):
