How to use Rewaa Pay on a Windows-based cashier device

Learn how to activate the Rewaa Pay service, connect an Android device with a Windows cashier device, and usage steps.

When using Rewaa Pay on a Windows cashier device, you need an Android device that supports NFC to receive payments. The Android device can be an integrated rear display in the cashier device or a separate device.

#Activation Method

On the Android device:

1. Open the Rewaa cashier app on the Android device.

2. Tap on "Rewaa Pay" from the main menu.

3. Tap on "Payment Gateways."

4. Tap on "Connect" in front of the payment gateway you want to use.

5. A window will appear to install the (Payment Plugin) app, tap on "Install."

6. Allow the required permissions when they appear.

ℹ️ Note: The app installation window and permission requests appear only when connecting to the payment gateway for the first time.

7. Wait until the payment gateway is connected.

8. Tap on "Start" at the "Payment Receiving Mode" option.

The Android device is now ready to be connected with the Windows cashier device.

On the Windows cashier device

1. Go to the Windows cashier device.
2. Open the sales box.
3. Tap on "Rewaa Pay" on the left of the sales screen.
4. Tap on "Connect" in front of the Android device you want to use.

#Usage Steps

1. Add products on the sales screen.

2. Tap on "Pay."

3. Choose the payment method "Rewaa Pay."

4. The amount is transferred directly to the connected Android device.

5. Ask the customer to swipe the card or phone on the payment device, or on the rear screen if the cashier device has two screens.

6. The payment is made and the invoice appears directly on the sales screen (browser).

1. Can I use the point of sale with more than one cash register at the same time?
   No, the point of sale is connected to only one cash register. After closing the register, you can connect it to another register.

   ℹ️ Note: The point of sale cannot be used on two registers at the same time, nor can the payment point be used on two different devices at the same time.

2. Can I connect more than one point of sale with the platform?
   Yes, you can connect more than one different point of sale to the platform at the same time (each point of sale with a different register).
