How to use Rewaa Pay on an Android cash register device

Learn how to activate the Rewaa Pay service and the steps for use.

You can activate the Rewaa Pay service on cashier devices that run on Android and support the NFC feature through the Rewaa Cashier app to start receiving payments.

#Activation Method

1. Open the Rewaa Cashier app.

2. Tap on "Rewaa Pay" located in the main menu.

3. Open the sales box if it is closed.

4. Tap on "Payment Gateways."

5. Tap on "Connect" in front of the payment gateway you want to use.

6. A window will appear to install the (Payment Plugin), tap "Install."

7. Allow the required permissions when they appear.

8. Wait until the connection to the payment gateway is established.

ℹ️  Note: The connection to the payment gateway and the download of the (Payments Plugin) occurs only once on each point of sale device when it is set up for the first time. After that, you will not need to repeat the process unless you reformat the device and choose "Factory Reset."

#Usage Steps

1. Go to the sales boxes.

2. Open the sales box.

3. Add products to the sales screen.

4. Tap on "Complete Sale."

5. Add the customer's name (optional).

6. Choose the "Rewaa Pay" payment method.

7. Tap on "Pay."

8. Ask the customer to swipe the card or phone on the device to complete the payment and issue the invoice.

1. What should I do if the message "An error occurred, please try again" appears during payment via Rewaa Pay?

This message appears due to the payment gateway not being used for a while, to activate the gateway:

• Go to the Merchant Dashboard.

• Go to the payment gateway.

• Click on the "Download Full File" button, the gateway will be activated immediately.

• Go to the Rewaa Cashier app and complete the sales operations.
