Learn how to receive an advance payment from the customer, add it to their balance, then use it in sales transactions.
The customer balance is an amount paid by the customer in advance to use in future purchases. You can add the amount to their balance, then use it when issuing sales invoices.
How to Add Balance to a Customer
- Go to Sales & Customers > Customer Payments.
- Click on "Add Customer Voucher".
- Enter the following payment information:

Customer.

Payment Amount.
-
Issue Date.

Payment Method.
-
Notes.

Enable the "Consider in POS Cash Management" option if you want to register the payment in a POS register, then select the Location and Register.

Click on "Pay".
The payment has been added to the customer's balance, and the voucher has been created. You can print it and hand it to the customer.
Print the Receipt Voucher

Go to Sales & Customers > Customer Payments.

Search by invoice number, or use the filter options to find the voucher.

Click on the print icon next to the voucher.

Complete the print settings.
Use Customer Balance During Sales

Go to Sales & Customers > Point of Sale.

Open the desired register.

Add products to the sales screen.

Click on "Pay".

Click on "Add Customer", then select the desired customer.

Enable the "Use Credit Balance" option.

Click on "Pay".
The invoice has been issued, and the amount used has been deducted from the customer's balance.

What happens if the customer's balance is less than the total invoice?
You can use the available balance to pay part of the invoice and pay the remaining amount using another payment method, or pay the full invoice using another payment method without using the customer's balance. -
Can the advance payment be refunded or modified after it is recorded?
Currently, this is not possible. -
Does the customer balance have an expiration date?
No, there is no expiration date for the customer balance.
