The Cost Price Change report is a summary of the changes that occurred in the product's cost. This report helps you understand each product's contribution to your net profit.
ℹ️ The product cost in inventory is calculated using the average cost price as follows:
(Current total value + Total new added value) ÷ (Current total quantity + Total new quantity).
Accessing the Report

Go to Reports > Inventory > Cost Price Change Report.

Click on the report to view details.
Searching for a Product or Invoice
You can search using:

Product name.
-
SKU.
-
Purchase invoice number.
Filtering Search Results

Click on "Filter".

You can filter results by:

Transaction date.
-
Transaction type.
-
Location.
-
Product name.
-
Product SKU.

Click "Apply".
Setting the Time

Click on the time field.

Select the time frame you want:

24 hours (default setting).

Choose a custom period (temporary or fixed).

Transaction type
Invoice number.

Location
The branch you selected when performing the transaction.
Product name
The name of the product registered on the platform.
Product SKU
The product's SKU.
Initial cost
The first cost you added for the product when registering it in the system (fixed).
Cost before the transaction
The cost recorded before the transaction.
Product quantity before the transaction
The quantity available on the platform before the transaction.
Transaction cost
The new cost added before the transaction.
Product quantity in the transaction
The new quantity added in the invoice.
Cost after the transaction
The product cost after performing the transaction.
Quantity after the transaction
Total quantity in inventory after performing the transaction.
Exporting the Report
