How to create a promotional offer (discount on product price)

Riwaa platform allows you to create promotional offers that help you increase sales and attract customers. In this article, you will learn the steps to create a promotional offer and add all the details.

#Steps to Create a Promotional Offer (Discount on Product Price)

#Step One: Choose the Type of Promotional Offer

1. Go to Sales and Customers > Promotional Offers.

2. Click "Add New Offer."

3. Choose the offer type "Discount on Product Prices."

#Step Two: Add Basic Information:

1. Name of the promotional offer.

2. Start and end date.

3. Start and end time.

   ⚠️ Note: If you do not specify an end date and time, the offer will remain active until you stop it.

4. Location (the branch or branches where the promotional offer will be activated on available products).

#Step Three: Determine the Type of Discount and Discount Value

1. Click on the appropriate discount type:

   • A fixed amount deducted from the product price.

   • A percentage deducted from the product price.

2. Enter the discount value.

#Step Four: Add Products Included in the Promotional Offer

To add products manually, click on the appropriate option:

• #All products (products available in the branch you selected).

• #Specific products:

1. Search for the product by its name or SKU.

2. Mark (✔) next to the product name.

3. Click "Add Products."

• #Specific categories:

1. Search for the main or sub-category name.

2. Mark (✔) next to the category name.

3. Click "Add Categories."

• #Import products via file (Excel)

1. Click on Import Products > Download Riwaa Template.

2. Open the Excel file after downloading.

3. Add the product SKUs.

4. Go back to the platform.

5. Click "Browse File" or drag and drop the file into the designated field.

6. Click "Add Products." Products are added directly.

7. To see the products after uploading, click "View Products."

#Step Five: Create the Promotional Offer

1. Click "Add New Offer."

2. The offer is created immediately and starts applying on the cashier screen according to the start date.
