After adding products or services in the products section, you can export them from the platform to an Excel file for review or examination.
Steps to Export Products

Go to Products and Inventory > Products.

Click on "Export".

Choose "Products".

Click on "Export".

A compressed file named: (products_export) is downloaded. It includes one or several Excel files depending on the main types of products you have added (Simple Product, Variable Product, Composite Product), each type added separately.

Open the file after downloading is complete and review the data you want.

1- Can I export a product file (of a single type only)?
No, it is not possible, all types you have are exported within a compressed file, each type of product is added in an Excel file, you can identify the product type by the file name:

Simple Product = Simple Products.

Variable Product = Variable Products.

Composite Product = Composite Products.
2- Are additional fields added within the product data exported?
Yes, additional fields and the data added in them are exported within the fields in the Excel file.
3- How can I identify weighted products in the Excel products file?
Through the (Weighted) column, if the field contains the word (yes) it means the product is weighted.
4- How can I identify services in the Excel file?
Through the (Enable stock management) column, if the field contains the word (no) it means the product is a service, and stock management is disabled for it.
5- Can the product file be exported in Arabic?
Unfortunately, the file is not currently available in Arabic, we are working on making this available in upcoming updates.
6- What is the difference between exporting products and the product performance report?
Exporting products provides a list of all your current products in the system (name, barcode, price, available quantity) — useful for review and backup. The product performance report shows sales, profits, and profit margin for each product over a specified period — designed for commercial performance analysis.
7- What is the difference between exporting products and the product movement report?
Exporting products shows the current stock status only at the moment of export. The product movement report shows the history of all operations that affected quantities (sales, returns, purchases, transfers, inventory) with the quantity before and after each operation.
