Accessing the Expense Categories Report

Go to Reports > Finance > Expense Categories.

Click on the report to view details.

Sorting Data
Choose the appropriate sorting method:

Total amount (from highest to lowest).

Number of transactions (from highest to lowest).

Filtering Search Results
You can filter search results when adding cost centers:

Click on "Filter".

Select the cost center.

Click on "Apply".

Reading the Expense Categories Report
The report shows the following data:

Categories: such as rent expenses, salaries.

Number of transactions: the number of times the expense was added to this category.

Average transaction amount = (Total amounts spent ÷ Number of transactions).

Amount percentage = (Total expense amount ÷ Total category expenses) × 100.

Total amount: the total amounts spent in the category.

Total: total expenses for all categories.
